Campus Safety (CS) magazine is pleased to announce that Tara Schelling is its new eastern sales manager. She will be handling print, e-media and event sales for both CS and its sister publication, Security Sales & Integration.
A native of Philadelphia, Schelling started her career at the once renowned Chilton Publishing Company and from there joined Penton Media Inc. She was regional sales manager for Penton’s flagship magazine dedicated to engineering—Machine Design—and most recently, New Equipment Digest.
In 2001, she managed advertising and Internet sales for the NewEngland/Mid-Atlantic region for Reed Business Information on both Professional Builder and Professional Remodeling magazines before joining Hanley Wood in 2003 where she managed the East coast sales for five publications including Remodeling magazine and The Journal of Light Construction.
Schelling holds a B.A. degree in English Literature from West Chester University and is an avid equestrian. She resides in the Philadelphia suburb of Doylestown with her husband.
