Contra Costa School District to Remove Students from Seismically Unsafe Schools

CONTRA COSTA, CALIF.

The West Contra Costa Unified School Districts (WCCUSD) is looking to table a plan to remove students out of two seismically unsafe schools. The move will be delayed until the school board determines which campuses to close.

The schools are unable to be fixed due to a multimillion-dollar budget gap. The board is scheduled to make a final decision on closures Feb. 11.
