Police are searching for a gunman in Middletown, Conn., who allegedly shot and killed a 21-year-old Wesleyan University student. Authorities suspect the man is targeting Jews and have asked Wesleyan University students to stay locked in their dorms.
According to the Middletown Police Chief, evidence suggests the gunman may be focusing on the campus and others in the Jewish community.
The suspect and victim had previously attended New York University. In 2007, the victim filed a police report against the suspect after he allegedly sent threatening E-mails.
Wesleyan University students were notified of the incident via E-mail and text messages.
