Colo. Campus Monitor Accused of Sexually Assaulting Student

COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—A campus monitor at Adams City High   School has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a female student.

The victim’s friends told school officials the student had been assaulted and raised concerns about campus monitor Jason Webb, 29, reports the Denver Post. Officials immediately reported the concerns to the police. Webb, who was on his first year on the job, was arrested May 14.

The incident did not occur on school property or during school hours.

Parents of all the 1,700 students are currently being notified of the incident.

Adams City High   School has approximately four campus monitors. All employees and volunteers who have contact with students in the Adams School   District 14 must undergo CBI background checks and fingerprint screens.
