Cleveland District Launches Safety Campaign, Bus Cameras
CLEVELAND — Cleveland City Schools has incorporated new security cameras into its buses and launched a new safety campaign, called “Take Pride in Our Ride.”
Information from the security cameras is downloaded to a new software system, the Times Free Press reports. Video can be E-mailed to a school principal to resolve any disputes and the system can monitor bus speeds and locations.
The “Take Pride in Our Ride” program will include safety information brochures for parents and students, student artwork and more in-service training for drivers.
