LOS ANGELES — The International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) has announced a new Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) study class for the Southern California region. The class is intended to prepare qualified individuals to take the IAHSS CHPA examination.
Students will receive training in hospital management and be required to give a presentation to prepare for future interactions with a hospital senior management team.
The class will be led by Joel D. Wiesner at the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif. The course fee is $110, which does not cover required reading materials.
The course is scheduled to begin Saturday April 9.
