Campus Safety’s Heroes of 2016
University of Bridgeport Security Officer Roderick Roland (right) and Sergeant Noel Richards (left) dove into the ocean to rescue a woman who was suicidal last January. If the officers had not jumped in to save her, she would have only survived for a few minutes due to the frigid conditions.
