Campus Safety’s Heroes of 2016
The Auraria Higher Education Center Police Department and emergency manager raised nearly $4,000 for children’s cancer research by participating as a “Shave Team” with St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The campus police department pledged that for every $100 raised by the team, an officer would shave their head. They far exceeded their goal.
