Calif. Hospital Security Supervisor Poses as Doctor, Sexually Assaults Woman
The man created a scheme to lure women to the hospital for fake health examinations.
A California hospital employee pleaded no contest to charges related to claims that he posed as a doctor to sexually assault a woman he lured into the facility.
Garry Chow pleaded no contest to sexual assault and attempted sexual battery for his alleged scheme at Seqoia Hospital in Red Wood City, where he worked as a contract security supervisor.
Chow, 34, allegedly created an online modeling job in September 2015 and initially posed as a talent agent. A 23-year-old woman responded to the job and Chow told her that she needed to pass a medical exam at Seqoia Hospital for employment, according to the Mercury News.

When the victim arrived at the hospital, Chow met her in the parking lot and told her the exam would be conducted in a utility closet because the hospital was so busy. Chow then assaulted the woman during the fraudulent exam and demanded $200.
Later that day, Chow attempted to repeat the crime with an 18-year-old woman. The second women became suspicious and left when Chow told her the exam would be conducted in the utility closet. She contacted police, who began an investigation.
Chow entered his plea Oct. 3 and will be sentenced Dec. 2. He will spend no more than three years in prison.
