Fairport, N.Y.-based Bosch Security Systems’ Divar XF is an embedded DVR with support for both analog cameras and IP video streams. The hybrid DVR has the ability to record video from eight to 16 analog inputs and eight IP cameras or encoders.
Supporting real-time (25/30 ips), 4CIF performance on all channels, Divar XF uses efficient H.264 video compression to deliver high-resolution images. At the same time, it reduces bandwidth and storage costs by up to 30 percent compared with traditional MPEG-4 encoding. RAID-4 storage ensures maximum protection of recorded video with uninterrupted system reliability – even if a hard disk fails.
