The i4 Series combination CO/smoke detector sends distinct CO or smoke alerts to the panel and homeowner. The detector’s replaceable electrochemical CO cell can be functionally tested with canned CO and can be replaced at end-of-life without tools. Smoke sensitivity can be easily verified from a distance using the SENS-RDR reader. The required i4 interface module enables the system to send distinct CO and smoke signals over two or four wires. It integrates up to 12 detectors to conventional panels and also allows interconnectivity, so when one device on the loop goes into alarm, they all sound.
