Blackboard Official Talks About Company’s Security Management System at CSC East

The presentation, titled Not All Security Systems Are Created Equal, kicked off day one of the event.

A senior Blackboard Transact official gave a presentation showcasing the company’s security management system last week.

The presentation, titled Not All Security Systems Are Created Equal, was given to attendees to kick off the first day of Campus Safety Conference East in Washington, DC on July 19.

During the talk, Blackboard Security Management System Director of Sales Jared Marber touched on some of the unique challenges people in the education industry face and spoke about how his company’s solutions can help.

Marber also gave an overview of his company’s extensive history in the education space.

“We’ve been in the education community for over 60 years,” Marber told attendees. “We’ve been providing security solutions specifically designed for education for over 30 years; and we have thousands upon thousands of video surveillance and security management systems in operation today,”

The video above includes Marber’s full presentation, including some slides and shots of the packed house we had at CSC East this year.

CSC East was the second of three conferences Campus Safety is hosting for professionals in the security industry this summer.
