Arecont Vision of Glendale, Calif., releases the SurroundVideo Omni camera that feature four multi-megapixel sensors that can be individually adjusted to capture different fields of view within a full 360° range, according to the company.
Features include dual H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) and MJPEG encoders, privacy masking, extended motion detection with 1,024 zones per channel.
Available in 5-megapixel, 8-megapixel, 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel configurations, the camera has multiple lens options available from 2.8mm up to 16mm. The 12-megapixel configuration features the company’s wide dynamic range technology, which delivers a dynamic range of up to 100dB at full resolution without lowering the frame rates, according to the company.
