8 Women Sue Campus Police Over Gender Discrimination

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Eight women are suing the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees and the Police Department for gender discrimination.

The women are seeking damages for embarrassment, humiliation, and emotional distress and for working in a “men-favored” environment.

This is the second lawsuit filed against the board, the police department and the acting police chief. The lawsuit includes current and former employees of the Campus Police.
