4 Nurses Charged With Painkiller Theft

EASTON, Pa.

Four Lehigh Valley Health Network nurses have been accused of stealing morphine and other painkillers after in-house checks helped hospital officials catch the alleged thieves.

Tracy Goetter, 48, Lisa Citrola, 48, Krista Lichtenberger, 25, and Christopher Evans, 31, are accused of stealing the medications, according to The Express-Times.

According to the report, the painkillers were stolen from several hospital campuses and were even used while some of the nurses were working.
