3 Suspects Arrested for LSU Double Homicide

BATON ROUGE, La. – After five months of investigating, police have arrested three men for the murders of two Louisiana State University (LSU) graduate students. All three suspects face two charges of first-degree murder.

The victims, Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma, 31, and Kiran Kumar Allam, 33, were both shot in the head at Allam’s residence Dec. 13.

Police have not revealed what led to the arrests of Casey Gathers, 20, and Michael Lewis and Devin Parker, both 19. However, according to news reports, Parker said Gathers shot the two victims.

The murders were the first in more than a decade on LSU’s campus.
