Campus Safety is asking all hospital, school, and college campus protection professionals to participate in the 2023 Campus Safety Panic Alarm and Mobile Duress System Survey.

“If you are responsible for public safety, emergency management or security at a healthcare facility, K-12 school or district, or institution of higher education, we would greatly appreciate your input. Your feedback is very important to the campus protection community and will help us provide valuable information on this technology,” says Robin Hattersley, editor-in-chief of Campus Safety.

TAKE THE SURVEY.

This survey, which is brand new, will ask:

  • If your organization has any type of panic alarm or mobile duress system or app installed, as well as the reasons why you do or don’t have one.
  • Which emergencies generate the most activations of your system, if you have one
  • How well your system(s) perform
  • And more!

The survey will only take about 4 minutes to complete. Your answers, E-mail address and identity, as well as that of your organization will remain confidential and will only be used in tabulation with answers from other respondents.

“We also encourage you to forward this message to your peers at other campuses, institutions, districts and organizations so they can participate,” says Hattersley. “The more data we collect, the more we can help the campus security community tackle the difficult challenge of keeping students, faculty, patients, clinicians, and visitors safe.”

Please complete the survey by October 5. The results will appear in CampusSafetyMagazine.com this fall.

Thank you for participating!
