The Northeast Colleges and Universities Security Association (NECUSA) announces that its 2009 annual conference will be held at the Mystic Marriott in Groton, Conn., June 14-17. This year’s conference will be co-hosted by Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Conn., and Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn.

- Violence on campus and how it impacts differing constituent groups
- Violence against women
- Hostage situations
- College presidents’ perspectives on campus violence
