2 Shot to Death at S.C. Nightclub and Hospital

CHESTER, S.C.— A shooting that began at a nightclub, continued outside a nearby hospital emergency room as victims from the original attack were attempting to get medical help. Two of the victims died as a result of the attack.

The incident started at about 1:30 a.m. on Monday at the Studio 72 nightclub. Shots were fired inside the venue, and as people left, more shots were fired in the parking lot, according to the Star

At least four individuals were injured at the nightclub, and several of them were taken to Chester Regional Medical Center by friends. When they arrived outside the ER, Derek Chalk, 20, who was helping a friend into the hospital, was shot several times, including once in the head. Chalk died of his injuries. 

Antonio Price, 24, who was shot outside Studio 72, died at another nearby hospital. 

No arrests have been made in connection with the shootings, and no one provided a description of the suspect. Additionally, the hospital’s outside video surveillance cameras were not working.
