GREENWOOD, S.C. – Two of three women who were sexually assaulted in their campus dorm room in March 2012 are suing Lander University, claiming the school didn’t have enough security.
The attacks occurred when two men with guns broke into the victims’ residence hall. Two former Presbyterian College football players were found guilty of sexual assault offenses, reports Fox Carolina.
The lawsuit claims the school didn’t have appropriate visitor management at the dorm and that the doors were unlocked. It also alleges the dorm’s resident assistant had a history of being irresponsible.
