Based in Palatine, Ill., System Sensor, a division of Honeywell, announces the CO1224T carbon monoxide (CO) detector. The CO detector provides RealTest™, which according to the company, is the first test of its kind for a detector’s CO sensing cell. This allows facilities personnel to test the detector with CO gas.
This product features a 12/24 VDC detector and will operate on most industry security and fire alarm control panels.
In addition to RealTest, the CO1224T device includes a six-year, end-of-life timer to indicate the necessary replacement of the detector.
