Spotlight on Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Sean Brammer

Check out some of this Director of the Year finalist’s top accomplishments, as well as a photo gallery of him and his department.

Congratulations to Florida Atlantic University Chief of Police Sean Brammer for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Adopted a wide variety of security technology on campus, including 2,500 security cameras, officer-worn cameras, in-car cameras, geofencing software and threat assessment software.
  • Created a comprehensive security plan for the school’s new football arena, including traffic management, multi-jurisdictional response, bomb sweeps, team and dignitary protection, weapons screening, command posts and more.
  • Implemented a victim advocacy center on campus to offer support and assistance to students in crisis.
