The most significant changes to sworn officer benefits and incentives involve the decrease in education benefits for officer family members (8%), as well as officer fitness benefits (6%). “Other” benefits and incentives include free meal plans and cell phone plans, POST incentives, take home vehicles, elite level training and flexible scheduling.
