Campus Safety’s Heroes of 2016
Highline College (Ga.) Department of Public Safety Officer Derek Dean has worked hard to establish relationships with the students and staff on his campus. Dean serves as a liaison for other campus departments like Facilities and the Early Learning Center and is a “go to” person for addressing issues. He also enthusiastically mentors new officers in the department, giving them the benefit of his many years of experience.
