Campus Safety’s Heroes of 2016
Minneapolis Community and Technical College Police Officers Rick Hyde and Dave Erntson are credited with reducing the amount of crime on campus and strengthening the department’s relationship with students.
Last year, Hyde solved a theft case involving more than 14 victims. Erntson has been personally responsible for identifying a number of suspects involved in everything from thefts, burglaries and aggravated assaults.
