Spotlight on Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Curt Schmidt

In conjunction with the Minneapolis Community and Technical College Public Safety Department’s five-year strategic plan, the MCTC Public Safety office space was remodeled to include a Public Safety Operations Center, where security cameras, alarms and other physical security systems are monitored more effectively. Additions include two large wall-mounted screens and three new monitoring stations to provide greater situational awareness and increased efficiency in providing excellent customer service.
