Congratulations to Keith King, Director of Safety and Security at Granville County Public Schools in Oxford, N.C., for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Some of his notable achievements include:

Doubled the number of school resource officers (SROs) from six to 12 in just over a year.
Introduce a panic alarm app to empower staff members during emergencies.
Strengthened district’s anonymous reporting system through “See Something, Say Something” efforts.
