Congratulations to Brandon Ingram, Director of Security at Covenant Health in Knoxville, Tenn., for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.
Some of his notable achievements include:
- Advocated for and obtained frontline officer pay increases of 20-56%, depending on facility location and other factors.
- Created the first threat assessment team for healthcare in Tennessee and developed a workplace violence taskforce.
- Implemented the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing model to allow staff and officers to process emotionally impactful events, such as pediatric patient death, use of force incidents, prolonged exposure to violent patients and other potentially traumatic events.
