Siemens Desigo Mass Notification System Update

The multi-layered alerting system can be used in a single building or across a large campus to communicate a series of emergency and non-emergency messages.

Siemens, a technology partner, service provider, systems integrator and product vendor, releases the next generation of its Desigo Mass Notification System as part of its overall Intelligent Infrastructure Solution.

The updates include enhanced alarm buttons that allow operators to more easily trigger incidents manually, a new telephone interface that connects to the speaker and strobe functions of emergency call stations and ground floor graphics that facilitate faster notifications to installed devices. Other enhancements include increased support for the common alert protocol (CAP).

The multi-layered alerting system can be used in a single building or across a large campus to communicate a series of emergency and non-emergency messages via visual, audio and digital notifications. The variety and combination of delivery messages ensures the right messages reach the right people no matter where they are, according to the company.
