Va. Tech Gunman Thought to Be Dead
BLACKSBURG, Va. — Police indicated during a news conference that a gunman who shot and killed a police officer in a parking lot at Virginia Tech today later died of gunshot wounds.
Police have not stated outright if the second shooting victim was the gunman, ABC News reports. However, the police manhunt has come to an end and police had received no reports of additional shooting victims.
The lockdown on campus has been lifted.
