Westport Public Schools Hires Director of Security

Theodore Hunyadi will now serve as the district’s director of security and facilities.

WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport Public Schools has hired a new director of security and facilities to oversee school safety and facilities as an effort to upgrade security in the security.

Theodore Hunyadi will replace the district’s former director of facilities and will be paid an annual salary of $125,000, Westport-News.com reports.

Hunyadi previously served as director of maintenance services at Fairfield University.

He also worked on the crisis management team at both Fairfield University and Fairfield College Preparatory School.

Hunyadi starts on Sept. 2.
