Congratulations to University of North Dakota Associate Vice President for Public Safety/Chief of Police Eric Plummer on being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Transformed the relationship between the Police Department and the student community into a relationship built on mutual respect and trust.
  • Developed a vehicle assistance program. More than 400 assists were done during the first year of the program.
  • Developed a fully functioning 24-hour operations center with building emergency action plans.
