Some of his notable achievements include:
- Transitioned the security department from 12 to 85 security employees while starting and building the transportation and EP/Safety departments
- Installed in-car video systems in all patrol cars and deployed body-worn cameras for all mobile officers
- Introduced social media monitoring for threat assessments and to keep track of issues that are developing in the community
