Congratulations to Captain John Brockie of California State University, Fullerton for being one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Created a cross-divisional Clery compliance team with members from student affairs, housing and residence life, HR, diversity and inclusion, counsel, academic affairs, administration and finance
  • Oversees more than 300 security cameras strategically placed around campus
  • Placed a police substation in the on-campus housing complex
