McCaskill to Deliver Keynote at Campus Safety National Forum

Sen. Claire McCaskill will speak on college campus sexual violence at the National Forum June 25.

Campus Safety magazine is pleased to announce that Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) will be delivering the 11 a.m. keynote on Thursday, June 25 at the Campus Safety National Forum in Washington, D.C. Sen. McCaskill will be speaking about sexual violence on college and university campuses.

Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006, Sen. McCaskill is helping lead the national effort to combat sexual assaults on college and university campuses. In 2014, she assembled a broad, bipartisan coalition of senators in introducing the landmark Campus Accountability and Safety Act, aimed at boosting accountability and transparency in higher education, and better protecting and empowering students.

The Campus Safety National Forum in Washington, D.C., is one of three premier events being held this year by Campus Safety magazine for hospital, school and university police agencies and administrators tasked with protecting the lives and property of our nation’s healthcare and educational campuses. It will take place June 24-26 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City and will also feature other top campus security experts who will address the most important security issues facing our campuses today. The presentations will cover the latest techniques for detecting, preventing and responding to safety-related incidents.

The Midwest Campus Safety Conference in Chicago will be held at the Rosemont Hilton from July 13-14, 2015. The West Coast Campus Safety Conference in Los Angeles will take place at the Westin LAX from July 23-24, 2015. General attendee registration is now open for all conferences.
