Ind. Law Gives DHS Authority in School Security

The following press release comes from OurKidsDeserveIT, a school security advocacy organization.

Indiana Governor Pence signed Senate Bill #147 into Law, Monday March 21st 2016.

Indiana is the first state in America to give the command and control to the Department of Homeland Security and other appointed officials to create the highest level of safety and protection from all life threat emergencies, so Indiana’s schools are the safest learning environments possible.
