Genetec SV-32 v2 Turnkey Network Security Appliance

The SV-32 v2 integrates legacy analog cameras as part of an IP transition plan.

Montreal-based Genetec introduces the SV-32 v2, the latest version of its turnkey network security appliance that enables organizations to deploy a unified or standalone IP/analog video surveillance and access control system while maintaining their existing investments in analog infrastructure.

The SV-32 v2 integrates legacy analog cameras as part of an IP transition plan, according to the company. Pre-installed with the Genetec Security Center platform, the SV-32 v2 appliance allows for the consolidation of multiple remote sites within a single security environment, while supporting a wide range of future-proof IP cameras and door controllers to suit various deployment needs.

It can support up to 32 analog or IP cameras and 100 access control readers on each unit.
