Campus Safety Magazine Expands Its Events This Summer
Conferences will be held in Washington, D.C., Chicago and Los Angeles in June and July, and will now cover hospital security.
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Campus Safety magazine is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its Campus Safety Conferences to three events this year, with venues in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago. Additionally, the events will now have three partners: the University of Southern California, which is a returning partner from 2014, as well as the University of Chicago and Northern Virginia Community College.
The new National Campus Safety Forum will be held June 24-26 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Washington, D.C., and the new Midwest Campus Safety Conference will be held in Chicago July 13-14 at the Hilton Rosemont in Rosemont, Ill. Los Angeles will once again host the West Coast Campus Safety Conference. That event will be take place at the Westin LAX.
The subject matter covered in all three events is also expanding. This year’s events will now include hospitals, bringing together K-12 school, university and healthcare facility police chiefs, security directors, administrators, executives, superintendents, principals, local, regional and national leaders and stakeholders involved in the protection of our nation’s healthcare and educational institutions.
Critical topics covered will include Clery and Title IX compliance, OSHA and Joint Commission compliance, active shooter response, emergency response and notification, threat assessments, managing the media and more.
