Author Cancels University Appearance Over Security, No Guns Policy
Author and conservative talk show host Dana Loesch postponed her visit at Texas Christian University (TCU) last weekend.
Dana Loesch, author of Hands Off My Gun, cancelled her visit at Texas Christian University (TCU) last weekend.
The conservative talk show host was scheduled to sign her books on Sunday at a TCU event, but Loesch said she felt uncomfortable with the security arrangements, reports WFAA. The school does not allow guns on campus.
Loesch says TCU wouldn’t provide enough security where she would feel comfortable not carrying her gun on campus.
The school said in a statement that it couldn’t provide additional security on short notice and that Loesch and TCU agreed to postpone the event and reschedule it so they could work out the security arrangements.
