Scenario: Large earthquake in the Los Angeles area resulting in a fleeing populace to San Diego County, interruption in flow of goods, services, re-supply, communication and utilities - including potential water disturbance. It is a full scale exercise and involves multiple sites. Hospital personnel practiced setting up surge tents to manage patient care outside of the hospital and used equipment that has been maintained for use in disasters.
