MOREHEAD, Ky. — A fire at Morehead State University Sunday left four firefighters injured.

The fire at Downing Hall, which is used as a storage and office facility, started on the top floor of the building. Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 7 a.m., when the fire had made its ways through part of the roof, Kentucky.com reports. The blaze damaged one-third of the two-story structure.

No one was in the building at the time of the fire. All of the injured firefighters were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries and released. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
