February 8, 2013
I don't know anything about the other candidates, but I can say that as someone who has first hand experience with the University of the District of Columbia (Volz) there is NO security at the law school. Maybe at the main campus... but definitely not the building I spend 6 or 7 days a week in. We recently had three thefts in the past two weeks, during the middle of the day in areas populated with people, and nothing has been done. They locked a few doors, but those doors do not actually secure any areas of the school because there are alternate (easily recognized) routes into those same areas. It's a shame, really.
